Multi-recycling of polypropylene fibre reinforced concrete: Influence of recycled aggregate properties on new concrete

• Recycling of polypropylene fibre reinforced concrete was investigated. Three generations recycled aggregate were produced, tested and recycled. The content fibres recovered by recycling embedded in quantified. Results show the benefits using new concrete. Herein, an investigation multi-generational recyclability (PPFRC) performed. parent concretes produced with 0 6 kg/m 3 fibres. After recycling, obtained coarse aggregates (RCAs) used fibres, repeating for three always same quantities Properties RCA, mechanical properties concrete, recovery rate within RCA measured. results study that PPFRC offers significant to production. This is achieved through reintroduced into as well aggregates, leading increased residual tensile strength.
